Dr Levin Ilona

2 years ago our 15 months old baby was very sick and got admitted to the Lethbridge hospital. After checking her symptoms (severe sleepiness, neck pain and eyes not tracking objects properly), the first two paediatricians we saw ordered constipation treatments for her. After treatment she was not getting better, but they told us it might take some time to bounce back and they were ready to discharge us. Our nurse (bless her kind heart) saw that we were still very worried offered to ask another paediatrician to come look at her. That doctor was Dr. Levin! She spent literally over an hour patiently playing/examining our baby and asking us questions about her symptoms. At the end of the visit she ordered a CT scan and the rest was history. Our daughter was diagnosed with a very rare brain tumour and was immediately airlifted to Alberta Children’s for emergency brain surgery. Had we not seen Dr. Levin that day I don’t know where and how our daughter would be now. Her unsurpassed patience, kindness and professionalism are so rare nowadays we sure considered ourselves very blessed to have received her help on that dreadful day.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Levine. She was an Angel in our darkness. Absolute best bed-side manner and amazing with our 3 year old son. A truly dependable and remarkable doctor that doesn't just write off our concerns. She even makes time to interact with my sons various other doctors across the province. Couldnt recommend her more!
