Doctor Friedland is one of the best and most helpful doctors I have ever been to. In the capacity of helping me deal with my mental health issues while I was at U of C, where she was working, she truly changed my life. I never felt like she was in a rush to get me out the door, she always listened to my health concerns, but above that, she legitimately cares about her patients.
She remembered non-medical details about my life and asked about how I was doing, often waived fees when mental health issues meant I could not make an appointment, and even once saw after her work hours when I needed a last-minute appointment for refills.
If you ever have a chance to see Dr. Friedland, I highly recommend her. She can seem a little brisk at first meet, but she is an incredibly caring doctor and will listen and address thoroughly any medical concerns you have.
