Dr . Byam was not my primary GP , however , diagnosed my DVT in 1988 after the birth of my daughter . My primary GP had not dx this and I had suffered for months , had lost my mobility , leg was warm , red and swollen . I was told same was a pinched nerve . I literally felt like I had a tourneky around my leg . I am grateful for Dr. Byam's dx and bedside manner was calm and reassuring . I have struggled with pain and swelling for years now I worked full time , raised , kids , travelled . Now I am 45 and the swelling pain and damage is forcing me to go on disability . I wish I had Dr. Byam as my primary care physician , then I would have had a dx and prompt treatment to prevent the extensive damage . I do not go a day without thinking of him and how he saved my life . My daughter , Sarah , is 28 today and grew up happy and healthy with a mom . Thank you from the deep Dr.Byam .
